Job summary

Rock Walworth Comprehensive Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Head Start Site Team Leader (STL) to oversee daily operations across Beloit and Elkhorn sites. The role provides supervision of staff and ensures Head Start standards are met, collaborating with local partners and communicating with families.

The position is full-time, exempt, 40 hours weekly, with a salary of $61,150 per year. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) after 1 year, life insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or higher with ECE coursework; transcripts required.
• Associate’s degree in ECE with at least 5 years of classroom management experience.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, reviewing and revising policies and procedures.
• Assist in creating monitoring strategies and tools and maintain records.
• Support HS Teachers and prioritize work with the HS Child Development Manager.
• Support IEP/ISP development, recording and targeted family/child support.
• Assist with emergency interventions and communicating with parents as needed.
• Plan and facilitate staff training with the Development Manager.
• Assist onboarding for new staff.
• Develop childcare collaborations and HS contracts as needed.
