CAPHR in Manchester, NH is hiring for Head Start teaching positions to support children and families in building school readiness. You will establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and plan daily experiences that foster growth.

This role emphasizes forming trusting relationships with families, conducting developmental screenings, and delivering classroom activities that meet individual needs while partnering with families to participate in the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or related field with 18 ECE credits, including a 3-credit Child Growth and Development course.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment.
• Develop trusting relationships with children and families in a positive, nurturing setting.
• Welcome and support families as primary educators and encourage family involvement in the curriculum.
• Plan and implement daily learning experiences that advance intellectual and physical development.
• Complete developmental and behavioral screenings within 45 days of start and continue ongoing observation and assessment.
• Plan and provide daily classroom activities (teacher-initiated and child-initiated) catering to individual needs.
• Complete 4 family visits per year (2 home visits and 2 center visits).
