Job summary

Drake University Head Start program seeks a full-time Head Start Program Coordinator to support the Lead Teacher in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation for preschool-aged children. The role includes light cooking, direct interaction with children, and occasional home visits for Early Head Start.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teacher with instruction and child development.

• Supervise children in non-classroom settings including playgrounds and outings.
• Communicate with parents, staff, and volunteers while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist with light food preparation and nutrition-related duties.
