Job summary

Acelero, Inc. is seeking a Hybrid Food Service Worker to support the Head Start/Early Head Start program in Racine, WI and Cudahy, WI. The role involves preparing USDA-approved meals, maintaining a clean kitchen, and managing stock and records.

Hours are approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a salary of $17.50 per hour. A high school diploma is preferred and ServSafe certification is desirable. This position requires a valid driver’s license and offers benefits and PTO in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Prepare attractive, USDA-approved meals.
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitary according to Health Department ordinances.
• Maintain adequate food stocks, kitchen supplies, and food service records.
• Assist in daily food production and kitchen operations between Racine and Cudahy (Racine Mound Ave. and Cudahy centers).
• Check food deliveries for accuracy and quality; adhere to FIFO inventory.

Responsibilities

• Support daily food production and kitchen operations.
• Assist in delivery of food to classrooms and removal of dirty dishes.
• Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures and refrigerator/freezer temps.
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen materials and supplies.
