Job summary

Community Development Institute Head Start seeks a Home Visitor to deliver in‑home education, assist families, and advocate for children’s growth. You will plan learning activities and support parents in implementing them during home visits.

The role requires completing mandated trainings and building trusting relationships with families, with pay based on education level (AA/BA) and credentials.

Qualifications

• Current home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework toward an associate or bachelor’s degree.
• AA/BA in ECE or related field as part of the education plan.
• Must complete trainings required by child care licensing (Title 22 related).

Responsibilities

• Provide education, case management, and family advocacy in families' homes.
• Plan and implement home-based learning experiences for children.
• Develop trusting relationships with families and guardians.
