Job summary

CAP Services Inc. is seeking a Home Visitor to provide Head Start home-based services in Wisconsin. The role involves delivering education, health, nutrition, and family support to enrolled families, including prenatal and postnatal care for EHS participants.

Starting pay ranges from $21.07 to $23.18 per hour, with a 37.5-hour workweek and full-time status. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401K with 6% match, and access to health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies, or related field required.
• Two-year degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or related field with four years of related work experience in early childhood preferred.
• Home-Based CDA credential or comparable credential with five years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide home visitation to families enrolled in Head Start home-based option, covering EHS services including prenatal and post-partum care (EHS only), early childhood education, family services, health, nutrition, mental health and special needs.
• Collaborate with families to support child development and family goals within Head Start guidelines.

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies, or related field

Two-year degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or related field

Home-Based CDA credential or comparable credential

Job description

Status: Full-time 37.5 hours a week – part year

Duties: Provide home visitation to families enrolled in Head Start home-based option, incorporating all aspects of Head Start and Early Head Start (EHS) services including prenatal and post -partum care (EHS only), early childhood education, family services, health, nutrition, mental health and special needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies, or a bachelor’s degree in a field related to those above and three years of related work experience in early childhood or;
• A two-year degree or classes equivalent to a two-year degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies or related field, and four years of related work experience in early childhood or;
• A Home-Based CDA credential or comparablecredential and five years of related work experience in early childhood.

Experience working with pregnant women and children ages birth to three preferred.
