Job summary

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation is seeking a full-time Program Nurse to support Head Start health, dental, and mental health services. The nurse will plan, coordinate, and monitor activities, ensuring compliance with Indiana licensing requirements and Head Start standards.

Staff training and clinic organization are key duties. The role requires LPN/RN licensure in Indiana or a related health degree with CNA, plus pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN with current Indiana license, or a related health bachelor's degree with CNA.
• Experience with young children birth to 5 preferred.
• Willing to obtain Pediatric CPR/First Aid Instructor, Lactation Specialist, Car Seat Technician, and Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Associate certificates within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor health, dental, and mental health services for Head Start.
• Train staff to perform health-related duties per program standards.
• Organize clinics with providers for dentals, immunizations, and well-child exams.
• Maintain and update health records and ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
