Job description

Responsible for the implementation of service area as outlined in the Head Start Program Performance Standards; follow USDA and Child and Adult Care Food Program requirements, including menu planning and budgeting, production documentation, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, drive an automobile, talk, and hear. The employee must be able to occasionally lift, carry, or assist children weighing up to 50 pounds.

Licenses/Training/Certifications

Obtain/maintain County Health Department Food Handler’s Class, including Person-in-Charge or Food Manager Certificate.
