North Central West Virginia Community Action Association is seeking a dedicated social worker to implement service areas under Head Start standards. You will work with families to develop partnerships, assess needs, and connect them with health, education, and social services.
The role requires maintaining a respectful, professional demeanor with parents, staff, and the community, along with advocating for children's well-being.
Responsible for implementation of service areas as outlined in the Head Start Program Performance Standards; Parent, Family and Community Engagement Framework; and applicable program Policies and Procedures. Primary responsibilities include knowledge of child health requirements, implementation of individual family partnership agreements, provide support and referrals for families, and maintain a professional respectful attitude with parents, staff, and the community.
While performing the duties of this job, the employees occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, drive an automobile, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 15 lbs.
Social Work License preferred.
