Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Floater/Custodian for Head Start programs in Georgia. The role supports the Center Supervisor and staff in daily activities, outings, field trips, and events, and includes transporting children and parents to centers and events.

Responsibilities also cover lunchroom duties, bus duties, classroom setup, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Flex hours up to four hours daily are required, with emphasis on reliability and positive interaction with children and families.

Qualifications

• Able to work with young children.
• Must relate well to people and families.
• Emotionally mature and able to follow directions.
• Available to work flex hours from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (not more than four hours per day).
• Ability to operate office machines (copier, binder, laminator).
• Display a positive attitude while assisting in classroom and activities.
• Able to care for and understand young children and children with disabilities.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist Center Supervisor and staff with daily center activities, outings, field trips, and events.
• Assist in transporting students and parents to and from Head Start Centers and field trips.
• Assist with lunchroom or kitchen duties for meals and snacks as assigned.
• Assist with bus duties as assigned and required.
• Assist with field trips and classroom setup and organization.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for all children.
