Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus at least two years of relevant experience.
• Experience in purchasing, accounts payable and payroll functions.
• Excel proficiency and English language ability.
• Knowledge of the Head Start program or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across levels and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines and priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment.
• Participation in required professional development including basic first aid and pediatric CPR as required by state licensing and HSPPS.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into the annual budget.
• Provide fiscal support to HR, ensuring timesheet allocations are up to date and properly coded.
• Prepare and present budget narratives and modifications.
• Code and submit invoices to Accounts Payable.
• Reconcile the program’s monthly credit card statements.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership.
• Oversee purchasing, bids, quotes, and vendor coordination.
