Job summary

Save the Children is seeking a Family Service Coordinator to manage a caseload of families in Head Start and Early Head Start, providing ongoing support that helps families use their strengths to build self-sufficiency and readiness for school and life.

You will document services, collaborate with program teams and community partners, and ensure ERSEA requirements while upholding safety and integrity across the program.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or credential in related field within 18 months of hire.
• Proficiency in MS Office and English (written and spoken).
• Experience building supportive relationships with children and families.
• Ability to exercise professional judgment and evaluate before decisions.
• Experience collaborating with staff and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Engage families as partners, assessing needs and priorities for program fit.
• Ensure enrollment targets, 10% children with special needs, and ongoing recruitment.
• Develop Family Partnership Agreements to support goal development.
• Conduct home visits to support parenting and child development.
• Follow referrals related to goals, health, education and family services.
• Strengthen community collaborations and share information at interagency meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to plan for home visits.
• Maintain accurate family records, electronic and hard copy.
