Job summary

LULAC Head Start Inc. in Connecticut seeks an Educational Services Director to oversee center-level education, supervise infant/toddler teaching staff, and support preschool coordination. You will lead a coaching team, coordinate curriculum, and ensure services meet Head Start and NAEYC standards.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and partner agencies to identify needs, monitor data, and implement program improvements while ensuring compliance with regulations and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience in teaching or mentoring adults.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and NAEYC accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise infant/toddler teaching staff and classrooms.
• Coordinate developmentally appropriate Early Childhood Education curriculum.
• Monitor program compliance and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with families and community agencies to support children with disabilities.
