Job summary

Fairbanks Native Association seeks a Program Services leader to oversee day-to-day administration of center-based classrooms in Fairbanks, AK. You will supervise staff, coordinate professional development, and ensure compliance with Head Start Standards and Alaska licensing requirements.

Your role includes planning staffing, coordinating with the PD Coordinator for training, and maintaining strong partnerships with community services to support families and children.

Qualifications

  • BA degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field, OR BA in unrelated field with 12 ECE credits.
  • Minimum of four years of experience with families and children from prenatal to pre-K.
  • Two years of administrative and supervisory experience, preferably in education or social services.
  • Ability to align with Head Start Standards and Alaska licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Interview, mentor, coach, and supervise classroom staff with program orientation and licensing training.
  • Evaluate team performance and coordinate ongoing professional development.
  • Establish staffing patterns and manage leave requests for proper coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with Head Start Standards and Alaska regulations; monitor budgets and expenses.
