Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of large-scale food production and safety standards.
• Must understand inventory systems and food handling.
• Food handler certification and CPR/First Aid within set timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble ingredients, dishes, utensils, and supplies for meal prep.
• Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals per program standards.
• Follow standardized recipes and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and sanitary kitchen areas.
• Train new kitchen staff and cover for absent staff when needed.
• Deliver meals to classrooms and manage food distribution.
• Order supplies and receive vendor deliveries.
• Plan menus and maintain food inventories.
• Reconcile monthly meal service data for reporting.
