Job summary

SCMCAA is seeking a Cook/Custodian to serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks at the Head Start center in Neelyville, Missouri. The ideal candidate will ensure meals meet nutritional guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and center.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, following health regulations, and assisting with menu planning. Candidates should have a high school diploma and the ability to prepare nutritious meals for children.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare a variety of attractive, well-balanced, nutritious meals in large quantity.
• Knowledge of basic nutrition standards and applicable health regulations.
• Obtain initial medical exam and TB assessment within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nourishing and attractive meals each day.
• Maintain a sanitary environment including kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Assist staff in planning and implementing educational and nutritional methods.
