Job summary

UMOS in Missouri seeks a Classroom Teacher III to implement Head Start curricula, plan home visits and parent/teacher conferences, and conduct developmental screenings to track each child’s progress.

You will maintain required records, communicate with families, support IEP/IFSP goals, and collaborate with staff and Bus Center activities. A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and flexibility with hours are required. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Preferred teaching experience with children ages 0-5.
• Preferred bilingual ability in Spanish and English (oral and written).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills (data entry/internet).
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Schedule home visits and parent/teacher conferences; track child progress.
• Plan and implement indoor/outdoor learning environments using Head Start frameworks.
• Implement daily activity plans and document required reports; coordinate with the Child Development Coordinator.
• Integrate IEP/IFSP goals for children with disabilities into lesson planning and progress tracking.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with families about developmental progress under PFCE framework.
