Job summary

Audubon Area Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Classroom Support Advocate (Full-Time, 1st Shift) to assist with delivering early childhood education in the Daviess County area.

Under supervision, you will support teachers, implement behavior interventions, and help align classroom activities with the curriculum. You will travel within a 16-county region, complete timely documentation, and ensure healthy routines for children and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and a CDA credential or an associate degree in early childhood education.
• Preschool CDA must be obtained within one year if current DCA is not Preschool.
• Willingness to travel within a 16-county service area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing child behavior interventions and instructional support in classrooms.
• Collaborate with Lead Teachers to implement effective classroom management strategies.
• Ensure room arrangements meet the needs of each child according to the prescribed curriculum.
• Support healthy habits and routines for children and adults in the classroom.
• Complete required documentation and record keeping timely and accurately.
• Travel within the 16-county service area is required.
