Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with one year of experience.
• Enrollment in a CDA credential program within two years of employment.
• CDA credential or state issued certificate meets requirements, or pursuing an associate's/bachelor's degree.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teacher with daily classroom duties.
• Implement Creative Curriculum and develop lesson plans.
• Administer development, social, and emotional screenings; track progress.
• Observe and document child development; actively supervise children.
• Collaborate with SPED team and family support staff to meet goals.
• Engage families with home language support and family conferences.
• Attend IEP meetings in Lead Teacher's absence; contribute to MTSS goals.
