The Opportunity Alliance in Portland, Maine is hiring an Assistant Teacher for Head Start. You will work with the Lead Teacher and Aide to create a safe, nurturing classroom that supports early learning for children from birth to age 5.

This full-time role includes collaboration with families and adherence to Head Start standards. Qualifications include a High School Diploma with a CDA credential (or enrollment in a CDA program), or an related degree; Ed Tech II certification for Pre-K is

Competenze

• High School Diploma and CDA credential or enrolled in CDA program to be completed within two years.
• Ed Tech II certification required for Pre-K classrooms.
• Degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
