Job summary

Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties (CAPBM) seeks a Head Start Assistant Teacher for the school year in Concord, NH. This full-time position supports the Lead Teacher by planning and delivering preschool experiences, preparing daily and weekly activities, and engaging with income-eligible families.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent credential, CDA or equivalent; NH licensing coursework required
• Experience: Previous experience in an early childhood classroom

• Characteristics: Attention to detail, confidentiality, problem-solving, commitment to positive workplace and classroom
• Technical: CPR/First Aid certification; successful background check
