Job summary

Equinox Sports Club is seeking a Head Squash Professional to manage and grow the squash program, delivering engaging programming, effective management, and revenue opportunities. You will focus on creating a positive member experience and driving ancillary revenue.

The role requires at least 3 years of coaching experience and a 5.0+ skill level preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills. Full-time schedule includes evenings and weekends in New York.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of coaching experience.
• Coaching level 5.0+ preferred.
• AED/CPR certified.
• Excellent communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Grow squash participation within the club and foster a sense of community among squash members.
• Meet or exceed program performance goals for monthly and yearly sales and revenue.
• Lead and organize the program: weekly round-robins, box-league/ladder, partner matching, league teams, and social events.
• Build a junior program with lessons and clinics for all levels.
• Create and distribute marketing and advertising materials for the squash program.
• Develop lasting relationships with participants, handle requests, and resolve issues promptly.
• Teach lessons (group and one-on-one) to adults and juniors.
• Support the successful operation of the club.
