Job summary

The Heights Casino is seeking an Assistant Squash Professional to join a world-class coaching team in Brooklyn. You will work with a large junior and adult program, reporting to the Squash Director, and contribute to a vibrant member experience.

We value teamwork, enthusiasm and reliability, with a focus on sportsmanship and community. Experience of 3+ years and coaching qualifications are preferred; visa not mandatory but welcomed.

Qualifications

• A pro that can fully join our squash program’s vision and goals.
• Works well in a team, is enthusiastic, reliable, kind and encouraging.
• Coaching experience of at least 3 years at all levels, with qualifications or international playing experience preferred.
• Ability to organize inter-club events/tournaments, private lessons and group clinics, camps and tournament coaching.
• May also coach adults in singles and doubles, in addition to juniors.
• Excellent verbal, written and non-verbal communication; strong sense of community.

Responsibilities

• Coach junior squash program and assist with adult coaching when needed.
• Organize and support events, clinics and private lessons to enhance member experience.
