Qualifications

• Valid Iowa Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all school activity policies.
• Required Concussion Training as mandated by state policy.
• Knowledge of operations of an activity program (Desired).
• First Aid and CPR (Desired).
• Knowledge of conference/state rules, regulations, and procedures (Desired).
• Preferred previous coaching experience in assigned activity (Desired).

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for the program from youth to varsity levels.
• Articulate and communicate the program vision to foster collaboration.
• Coordinate with staff to prepare and implement practice plans and goals.
• Ensure safety and well-being of student-athletes during activities.
• Demonstrate discipline and uphold administrative policies inside the program.
