Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required or preferred.
• Valid Missouri Teacher Certificate required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of coaching techniques and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport.
• Plan and schedule a regular program of practice in season.
• Work with Athletic Director in scheduling interscholastic contests.
• Recommend purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
• Maintain inventory of uniforms and equipment and related paperwork.
• Oversee safety conditions of the facility.
• Establish performance criteria for eligibility in interscholastic competition.
