Job summary

Wilsonart International in Temple, TX is seeking a Cut-To-Size Operator for the night shift (Mon-Thu, 9pm-7am) to support finishing operations. You will read measurements, set up and operate the saw, cut material to order, and help maintain a safe, organized work area.

The role requires basic math, tape measure literacy, and the ability to follow direction and work independently. Familiarity with Oracle/ODBC is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Cut-To-Size experience including saw operation.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Familiarity with Oracle and ODBC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the manifest for material in production.
• Set up the table for the saw operation.
• Make tags for cut material.
• Cut material to specified measurements.
• Move cut material to the holding area.
• Visually inspect material for quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Change the saw blade and blade cover as needed.
• Coordinate with foreman and back up workflow.

Write up and process material to be cut. Performs other tasks as required.
