Walla Walla County in Washington State seeks a Chief of the Road Operations Division & Fleet Management to lead three road maintenance districts and a 38-person vehicle shop. The role manages a $6.0 million road budget and oversees traffic control, vegetation management, and the ER&R Fund.

This exempt, full-time position requires a Bachelor's or Associate degree in a relevant field with extensive supervisory experience; a PE is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

• Bachelor’s degree with five years progressive road maintenance experience; two years supervisory in fleet operations and budget management.
• Associate degree with seven years progressive experience; supervisory in fleet operations and budget management.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee 38 employees across three road districts and a vehicle maintenance shop.
• Develop and manage a $6.0M road maintenance budget and MCFCZD-related budget.
• Supervise signing, traffic control, vegetation management, and ER&R Fund administration.
• Serve as primary advisor to the Director of Public Works.
