Job summary

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of team management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with ML models and experimentation.
• Statistical knowledge and data intuition.
• Ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems.
• Coding skills in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision for a team of Product Data Scientists.
• Lead the team to execute the company vision at scale, owning all outputs across optimizations, modeling, and data analysis.
• Analyze operational and vehicle data to enhance Waymo Driver performance and support expansion.
• Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, aligning cross-functional stakeholders around a shared vision.
• Manage prioritization of team resources to partner with product, engineering, operations, and strategy.
