Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting a Director, World Model & Agentic Learning to lead the AI science team within the Data, Data Science & AI organization. You will set the technical direction for enterprise world models and agentic-learning capabilities powering the R&D platform.

You will recruit 4–8 AI scientists, partner with scientists and domain experts, and ensure decisions are auditable, accountable, and continuously improved from real-world operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of post-academic industry experience building and shipping AI/ML systems.
• Hands-on expertise with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic frameworks.
• Experience designing systems with learning from real-world operation and expert feedback.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design the knowledge accumulation and continual learning architecture for enterprise AI.
• Lead a team of AI scientists to deliver world model and agentic-learning capabilities.
• Partner with domain experts and platform teams to scale the solution across workflows.
• Ensure auditable, accountable decision-making and robust evaluation.
