Job summary

Stripe is seeking a strategic leader to run Workplace Operations at our New York office. You will oversee facilities, front of house, events, and safety while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional employee experiences.

You will manage a high-performing team, balance budgets, and drive continuous improvement to align local execution with global standards. This role requires a hands-on, in-office presence four days a week in NYC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of workplace/hospitality management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong demonstrated ability in facilities management, vendor, and budget management.
• Strength in building relationships with key internal partners to ensure efficiency on cross-functional projects.
• Experience managing a team focused on customer service, hospitality, and operations, with the ability to develop and coach your team.
• Ability to synthesize operational data, stakeholder feedback, and business context into clear recommendations that support sound decision making.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workplace operations at your site(s), including building operations, front of house, shipping and receiving, events support, and employee health and safety.
• Make sound, independent operational decisions balancing business impact, risk, cost, and employee experience.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of workplace services professionals and drive continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Own operational performance by monitoring service levels, identifying trends, and driving improvements.
• Develop data-informed recommendations that shape workplace programs while aligning with global standards.
• Collaborate with Finance & Strategy and IFM partners to oversee the NYC opex budget.
