Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. seeks a Director of Operations Wire and Spring to lead manufacturing for our wire and spring division, supporting the bedding business. You will define strategy, structure, and processes, driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Lead multi-site operations, oversee P&L, mentor the management team, and partner with sales, planning, engineering and quality to deliver world-class manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.
• 10–15 years of management experience in operations or related field.
• P&L experience and budget management.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Knowledge of materials management, quality systems, and plant engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee P&L and all wire and spring manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with sales, demand planning, engineering, safety, quality and cross-functional teams.
• Define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes.
• Monitor performance and identify efficiency improvements.
• Interview, hire, train, and mentor the operations management team.
