Job summary

YouVersion, a Life.Church ministry, seeks a Director of Visual Content to lead visual storytelling across video, photography, and motion design. You will guide the team, shape standards, and partner with cross-functional leaders to reflect the YouVersion brand globally.

Responsibilities include leading major campaigns, mentoring talent, and driving innovative visual approaches in a fast-paced ministry context.

Qualifications

• Advanced craft in cinematography, directing, and visual storytelling.
• Experience leading creative teams and on-set environments.
• Strong editorial judgment and expressive visual language.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Visual Content Team and develop craft standards for cinematography, photography, and motion design.
• Shape visual direction to ensure brand-aligned, emotionally engaging storytelling across platforms.
• Collaborate with strategists, writers, designers, and producers to craft compelling creative solutions.
• Coach teams through reviews, providing clear direction and actionable feedback.
• Direct cinematography, photography, and motion direction for major campaigns and moments.
