Job summary

Trusted Shops is seeking an experienced Head of UX Product Design to lead our UX strategy across B2B and B2C products. You will head an interdisciplinary team and partner with Product Management and Engineering to elevate user experience and visual consistency.

You will shape a long-term UX vision, implement a holistic research framework, and ensure accessibility and measurable impact across platforms, while fostering a culture of user-centered design and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a Senior UX role, ideally with leadership responsibilities.
• Expertise in Product Design, UX Strategy, User Research, and Design Ops.
• Deep understanding of digital products, platforms, and complex B2B/B2C ecosystems.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams and within agile organisational structures.
• High analytical competence and experience with both quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an interdisciplinary UX Team (Product Design, Content Design, Localisation).
• Define and drive a long-term UX vision for Trusted Shops’ product ecosystem.
• Build and evolve a holistic UX research framework across product areas.
• Define UX and research KPIs with Product Analytics and build a System of Insights.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to prioritise challenges and research needs.
• Govern and evolve the Design System ensuring accessibility and consistency.

For us great products always come with great UX. Therefore, we are looking for you: an experienced and passionate Head of UX Product Design (m/f/d) to join us in raising the user experience and visual appeal of our entire B2C and B2B product portfolio to the next level.

Your profile

What your day as Head of UX might look like

• You start your day and set up your mobile workspace – or get comfortable at a desk in the office.
• You then meet with the Group Product Managers to discuss the strategic direction of a new feature area, bringing in data and research-driven UX perspectives.
• In the weekly meeting with your UX Team, you discuss current and strategic topics.
• Time for focus? Over the next couple of hours, you can fully concentrate on your tasks, whether it's shaping a research project or planning staffing for a new product.
• Lunch break! If you’re not preparing something at home, you might meet with team members and colleagues to explore nearby restaurants.
• In the afternoon, you meet with the leadership team, present your UX strategy, and align on company‑wide priorities.
• Still in the office? How about a free cold drink on the rooftop terrace before heading home?
• Or maybe today is your monthly ‚Self Education Day‘? In that case, there are no meetings – just your own program designed to help you learn and grow.

You are responsible for our UX strategy and process, establishing a UX research environment, and ensuring:

Team Leadership & Organisational Development

• Leading, coaching, and developing an interdisciplinary UX Team (Product Design, Content Design, Localisation).
• Promoting a user‑centred culture across the entire company through workshops, research reviews, insight sharing, and mentoring.

UX Strategy & Vision

• Developing a long‑term UX vision for the entire Trusted Shops product ecosystem.
• Ensuring a consistent and evidence‑based user experience across all platforms.

UX Research Leadership & Coordination

• Building, scaling, and evolving a holistic UX research framework.
• Coordinating the entire research roadmap across all product areas – including discovery processes, regular testing cycles, exploratory studies, and continuous research programs.
• Translating complex insights into clear, strategic recommendations for leadership, product teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Measurability & UX Impact

• In collaboration with a Product Analyst: defining and maintaining relevant UX and research KPIs (e.g., usability KPIs, NPS, etc.).
• Building a structured System of Insights that reveals recurring patterns and supports long‑term decision‑making.

Product Development & Collaboration

• Close partnership with Product Management and Engineering to jointly prioritise challenges, hypotheses, and research needs.

Design System & Consistency

• Further development and governance of our Design System, informed by research insights.
• Ensuring accessibility, usability, and visual consistency across all products.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in a Senior UX role, ideally with leadership responsibilities.
• Expertise in Product Design, UX Strategy, User Research, and Design Ops.
• Deep understanding of digital products, platforms, and complex B2B/B2C ecosystems.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in cross‑functional product teams and within agile organisational structures.
• High analytical competence and experience with both quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Clear, structured communication style with the ability to explain complex UX topics in an accessible way.
• Passion for driving and embedding a company‑wide UX culture.
• You are fluent in German and English.
