Job summary

Future’s New York editorial team seeks a TV/AV content lead to oversee TV testing and collaborate with video, audience and e-commerce teams. You’ll guide testing programs, commission freelance TV content, and produce engaging reviews and newsletters for our readers.

You’ll also appear in video content, write weekly TV reviews, and help expand home theater coverage while maintaining a collaborative relationship with industry partners.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing TVs and home theater equipment for digital publications.
• Comfort appearing in online video content for mainstream audiences.
• Experience editing written content and working with freelance contributors.

Our New York editorial team creates engaging written content, dynamic long-form video, and interactive social media coverage. We combine deep product testing with audience data to guide consumers toward confident purchasing decisions every day. You'll join a creative team that connects audiences with cutting-edge consumer technology and home theatre innovations.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the US Editor-in-Chief of Tom's Guide, you'll guide our TV and AV coverage from our New York hub. In this role, you'll oversee TV testing program — reviewing TVs to support our buying guides — and collaborate closely with our Head of Video to produce engaging digital video content. You'll partner with Future Labs for product testing, Audience teams for engagement, and E-commerce teams to optimize affiliate performance. Using content management systems and web analytics, you'll track content performance and deliver creative reviews across flagship TV models.

You'll serve as a welcoming brand voice across video appearances, social channels, and written coverage. You'll write weekly reviews, comparison articles, and category newsletters while managing freelance contributors to expand our home theater coverage.

The expected range for this role is $97,000 - $110,000

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week from our New York Office, 2 from home
