Job summary

Beacon Mobility Corp. is seeking a Director of Transportation Safety to lead safety programs across the organization and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations within the transportation sector.

The role partners with the operations team to promote a culture of safe and efficient transportation operations. The ideal candidate has at least three years of safety management experience, a supervisory background, and a relevant college degree.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of safety management experience.
• One (1) year of supervisor experience.
• College degree in HSE, Business Management, Business Administration or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the entire workplace follows industry, state, and company safety guidelines or rules.
• Conduct routine safety audits.
• Carry out safety training programs for company employees on a regular basis.
• Develop processes for collecting data on causes of accidents.
• Implement initiatives to reduce work-related accidents and occupational hazards.
• Direct and supervise safety guidelines and procedures.
• Investigate accidents to determine causes.
• Inspect and monitor daily operations for safety compliance.
• Report safety adjustments to top management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
