Job summary

August Bioservices, based in Nashville, TN, seeks a Manager of Training to lead the site-wide training program for a pharmaceutical manufacturing organization. You will ensure staff are qualified to perform work safely, in compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements, and maintain inspection-ready records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in life sciences, engineering, education, organizational development, business or related field.
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical/regulated manufacturing; 2+ years in training, quality, operations, or leadership.
• Working knowledge of cGMP, docs control, data integrity, deviations, CAPA, change control, inspection readiness.
• Experience administering an LMS and producing compliance reports.
• Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate adult learning for technical content.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the site training system, including governance and curricula.
• Ensure training completions, retraining, and qualification records are accurate and inspection-ready.
• Develop role-based learning plans for GxP, safety, quality systems, and compliance.
• Collaborate with process owners to convert procedures and changes into effective training.
• Oversee LMS data integrity, access, reporting, and change controls.
• Establish standards for instructor-led and on-the-job training; qualification sign-off.
