Job summary

August Bioservices in Nashville, TN seeks a Manager of Training to lead the site training program for pharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring qualified personnel perform work safely and in compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Head of Quality, the role builds curricula, maintains inspection-ready records, and partners with Quality, Operations, and HR to improve learning effectiveness and training outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, education, organizational development, business or related field.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech/regulated manufacturing including 2+ years in training/quality/operations leadership.
• Experience with cGMP, documentation, data integrity, CAPA, change control, inspection readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the site training system, governance, curricula, and metrics.
• Maintain training records, retraining, and qualification sign-off.
• Develop role-based learning plans for GxP, technical, safety, and quality systems.
• Lead trainers, coordinators, and instructional designers.
• Budget, vendor management, and training program governance.
