Job summary

Castelion seeks a Manager of Tooling, Automation & Controls to lead design, development, deployment, and sustainment of tooling and automated systems for hypersonic missile production. You will build a high-performing team, drive DFx, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across DoD, ITAR, and hazardous environments.

The role requires 5+ years in tooling and automation, strong leadership, and expertise with major automation platforms and robotics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in tooling, automation, and controls engineering for complex manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for all tooling, automation, and controls across production programs.
• Oversee design and qualification of precision tooling and fixtures for advanced manufacturing.
• Architect and deploy automated cells, robotics, and motion-control systems with safety compliance.
• Drive end-to-end project execution from concept to production handover, managing budgets and schedules.
• Mentor engineers and foster a safety-focused, high-performance culture.
