Castelion Corporation in Torrance, CA is seeking a world-class tooling fabrication leader to head a team of technicians, bridging engineering and manufacturing to deliver high-quality tooling and ground support equipment for long-range missile systems.

This frontline production role blends hands-on technical leadership with operations management; you will supervise shop floor activity, hire and develop staff, and drive safe, efficient fabrication in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• 8+ years in aerospace manufacturing with tooling and GSE fabrication preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in an associated field is preferred.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role is beneficial.
• Intimate knowledge of MES software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise shop floor activity, including daily schedules and workflow.
• Lead and manage a staff of up to 10 technicians, including performance management.
• Hire and develop the team based on output and skillset requirements.
• Maintain tooling and consumable inventory.
• Identify and develop training as required from the skills matrix .
• Track and execute on deliverables out of the Tooling Fabrication shop.
• Develop the fabrication shop in terms of space, equipment and layout.
• Develop and maintain a safe working environment.
