Job summary

Profound is hiring its first Head of Talent to scale our recruiting function in NYC's Union Square. You will own the hiring engine end-to-end, partner with founders, design scalable data-driven processes, and codify our hiring bar while balancing speed and quality.

This on-site role offers a base range of $250,000 to $375,000 plus equity and benefits; you’ll lead a high-growth team, develop pipelines, dashboards, and interview loops to forecast performance across functions as Profound expands

Qualifications

• Built and scaled a talent function in a high-growth startup.
• Data-driven approach to hiring with pipelines and forecasting.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and high agency.
• Strong collaboration with founders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the talent function end to end, doubling headcount.
• Design scalable, data-driven recruiting systems and dashboards.
• Translate headcount plans into hiring plans and interview loops.
• Codify hiring bar with scorecards and debrief rituals.
• Own employer brand and top-of-funnel candidate experience.
• Build recruiting infrastructure for global expansion.
• Stay hands-on, sourcing and closing critical roles.
