Job summary

Fluor seeks a Department Manager - Supply Chain Management for Virta to lead buying, expediting and logistics across projects. You will set department direction, manage procurement through proposal to closeout, and partner with Estimating and Capital Projects to align with schedule and budget.

The role requires a four-year degree with 12 years of related experience (or 16 years without a degree), strong supplier negotiations, and the ability to travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with extensive related experience.
• 12 years of work-related experience or 16 years if non-degreed.
• Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients and vendors.
• Ability to learn applicable laws and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SCM from proposals to closeout across projects.
• Qualify suppliers, evaluate bids and negotiate best-value packages.
• Coordinate priorities and cost tracking; manage forecasts and currency exposure.
• Staffing, coaching, and fostering ethical client-supplier relationships.
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures; perform other duties.
