HNTB seeks an industry-leading Structures Department Manager to lead and grow the bridge and structures practice across Northern New England, spanning Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10 years of practical experience including 2 years of supervisory experience.
• PE certification (required).
• Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates outside of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Develops, monitors and manages the department's operating budget and forecast updates.
• Leads discipline-specific engineering department staff and ensures training and mentoring.
• Supports strategic planning, SSA, SCA, and SDA processes across projects and offices.
• Oversees project delivery, scope, schedule, budget and quality, and engages in client discovery, proposals, and win-to-work activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

10 years of practical experience

2 years of supervisory experience

Master's degree in Engineering

12 years practical experience

4 years supervisory experience

Professional Engineer (PE) certification
