Job summary

Katalyst Space is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to own hardware-enabled product strategy and drive cross-functional roadmaps. You will connect software, hardware, and defense initiatives with clear timelines, and work closely with engineering, marketing, and leadership to crystallize product requirements and market narratives.

You will guide market-driven decisions, build compelling business cases, and mentor a team of product managers to deliver integrated technology solutions for space

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Product Manager owning hardware-enabled products.
• Strong fluency in bridging software and hardware capabilities.
• Experience defining roadmaps, requirements, and go-to-market narratives.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive cross-functional execution.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain a unified HW/SW product strategy linked to priorities and defense needs.
• Publish and refine an integrated roadmap aligning software, hardware, and defense initiatives with timelines.
• Transform loosely defined capabilities into clearly defined products with timelines and milestones.
• Create market requirements for each product in the HW/SW portfolio.
• Build feature-level business cases tied to customer value and company priorities.
• Partner with engineering to assess architecture and feasibility.
• Implement a stage-gate process aligning opportunities with product maturity.
• Ensure sales/BD teams have accurate product materials for customers.
• Mentor product managers aligned to individual products.
