Katalyst Space is seeking a driven Product Manager to own the unified HW/SW product strategy, aligning software, hardware, and defense initiatives. You will publish a cross-product roadmap, transform capabilities into clearly defined products, and work closely with engineering, marketing, and leadership to drive delivery and market readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience owning hardware-enabled products.
• Hardware product expertise with ownership of definition, delivery, and lifecycle decisions.
• Experience leading product teams with cross-functional coordination.
• Background in space operations or technical engineering is desired.
• Engineer who transitioned into product management with technical credibility.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain a unified HW/SW product strategy connecting software and hardware offerings to priorities, needs, and defense requirements.
• Publish and refine an integrated, cross-product roadmap aligning software, hardware, and defense initiatives with timelines and milestones.
• Drive product consolidation and positioning with defined requirements, timelines, and go-to-market narratives with engineering, marketing, and leadership.
• Create and own market requirements for each product in the HW/SW portfolio.
• Build feature-level business cases tied to customer value and company priorities.
• Partner with engineering to assess architecture and feasibility.
• Implement a stage-gate process to align opportunities with product maturity and baselines.
• Ensure sales and BD teams have accurate product materials.
• Manage and mentor product managers aligned to individual products.
