Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Head of Source-to-Pay Technology to lead the IT function for Procurement and S2P platforms. You will shape roadmaps, manage investments, and ensure secure, compliant, scalable solutions across global teams.

You will partner with Procurement, Finance, GBS, Data, and Technology to deliver enterprise-grade capabilities, balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, and drive continuous improvement in a regulated life sciences environment.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including enterprise application delivery and stakeholder management.
• Experience as IT leader supporting Procurement, Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, Finance or similar functions.
• Hands-on leadership with Source-to-Pay or related platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Oracle ERP, CLM, analytics.
• Experience managing large SI partners, MSPs, and technology vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology strategy, roadmap, delivery, support, and lifecycle management for Procurement and S2P.
• Partner with procurement, finance, GBS, legal, and compliance to translate needs into scalable tech.
• Lead the S2P tech portfolio including sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and invoicing.
• Drive investments and portfolio planning with business cases and budgeting.
• Govern demand, prioritization, enhancements, and platform lifecycle planning.
• Lead cross-functional teams of product owners, analysts, architects, and engineers.
• Oversee end-to-end solution delivery, including architecture, integrations, and data migration.
• Ensure operational excellence, reliability, and regulatory compliance across platforms.
• Manage vendor relationships and MSPs with accountability for delivery and SLAs.
