Job summary

Shaped, a Brooklyn-based ML platform, seeks a Head of Solutions Engineering to help customers integrate and experiment with ML models on the Shaped Platform.

You will collaborate with diverse customers to solve ranking challenges and influence product roadmaps based on their requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science, data science or mathematics related field.
• 6+ years of industry experience in a software/DS/solutions engineering role.
• Proficient with Python and SQL.
• Willingness to wear many hats and unblock customer issues with problem solving.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics, statistics and algorithms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert at using the Shaped ranking platform.
• Experiment with ranking models for customer discovery use-cases.
• Analyze data to identify performance improvements for customers' models.
• Experiment with pre-trained embeddings for image, language, audio and video.
• Build relationships with customers’ technical teams for long-term success.
• Deliver technical demos showcasing Shaped capabilities.
• Communicate timelines and updates to customers.

We’re looking for a Head of Solutions Engineering to help customers integrate, build and experiment with machine-learning models using the Shaped Platform.

You’ll collaborate with a diverse range of customers to solve their ranking challenges. Additionally, you’ll contribute to shaping our product roadmaps based on their customer requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in computer science, data science or mathematics related field. Master's degree or PhD will be advantageous.

6+ years of industry experience in a software engineering, data science or solutions engineering role

Proficient with Python, SQL

Have the willingness to wear many hats, be passionate about unblocking issues for customers, and have an excitement for problem-solving

In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics and algorithms.

Operate well within fast paced, small teams

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
