Job summary

Attis is seeking a Head of Software in Los Angeles to lead, scale, and mentor its engineering org while staying hands-on with platform architecture and production systems.

You will hire and mentor cross-functional teams, shape product roadmaps with executives, and architect real-time, geospatial, and operator platforms critical to mission operations; highly compensated with equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive software engineering experience with leadership exposure.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, and TypeScript alongside PostgreSQL and distributed event-driven architectures.
• Experience taking full-stack, data-intensive products from zero to scale.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and structure cross-functional backend, frontend, and edge engineering teams.
• Partner with executive leadership on product roadmaps, GTM alignment, and technical strategy.
• Architect and ship scalable real-time systems, geospatial interfaces, and operator platforms.
