Job summary

Jewish Care in the UK is seeking a senior leader to shape social work, community support and safeguarding, driving service development and professional practice across our services. You will provide strategic leadership, use data and partnerships to improve outcomes, champion safeguarding culture and develop teams to deliver integrated, person‑centred support for people and families in our communities.

Qualifications

• Professional social work qualification and current registration required.
• Experience leading safeguarding and organisational assurance.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and service transformation.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver strategies for social work, community support and family carer services.
• Lead safeguarding strategy, training, governance and incident escalation.
• Promote high standards of person-centred, strengths-based practice and professional development.
• Use data and community insight to identify needs and demonstrate impact.
• Develop partnerships across health, local authorities and voluntary sectors to improve outcomes.
• Lead and develop managers and multidisciplinary teams with a collaborative culture.
• Oversee budgets, governance and risk reporting to senior leaders and trustees.
