KIPP NJ is seeking a Director of Events to define the vision for all regional events across Newark, Camden, Paterson, and Miami. The role requires leading end-to-end event design, managing budgets and vendors, and inspiring a high-performing events team.

You will own the annual calendar, coordinate regional planning, and push for 7‑star experiences within budget. Travel across regions is a core part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or Education preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience planning and executing large-scale events.
• Experience managing people and event budgets.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently among Newark, Camden, Paterson, and Miami.

Responsabilités

• Set the vision and standards for KTAF events across four regions.
• Own annual events calendar across all regions and publish milestones.
• Design and deliver end-to-end signature events with logistics, venues, vendors, and budget.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance.
• Build and maintain a central resource hub for templates, checklists, and guidance.
• Lead and develop the events team and ensure cross-regional collaboration.
