Job summary

Gallo Mechanical LLC is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Estimating Manager to lead our preconstruction function for sheet metal and HVAC ductwork. You will oversee the estimating process, mentor a team, and ensure accurate, competitive bids aligned with company strategy.

The role partners with executive leadership, BIM/VDC, and operations to drive bid strategy, improve processes, and support growth in a fast-paced mechanical construction environment in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of sheet metal estimating experience in commercial mechanical construction, with leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of estimators.
• Review and approve estimates for accuracy and bid strategy alignment.
• Manage workload, bids, and calendar for timely submissions.
• Standardize estimating processes and quality controls.
• Lead estimates for large sheet metal/HVAC ductwork scopes.
• Coordinate with executive leadership for bid decisions and strategy.
